July 13th: Colter Bay - Jackson Hole: Majestic!

A cycling day in Teton National Park is a great joy! Sun (yes!) to start with, a breakfast outside at the store and rolling hills. Just imagine this wall of mountains with lots of snow and in front of them a huge lake! This park is also known for bears (which I did not see). I did get the chance to see a herd of elk. Impressing! A nice bike path takes you out of the park. Jackson Hole is THE cowboy town and tourist emporium.  The town square – a park with on the four corners arches made from antlers – is the scene for a shoot out every evening. It’s also a shopping paradise – especially after staying a couple of days in the wilderness.
