Now I’m back on my scheduled route. Today was the 13 mile climb back to the rim. Sweat dripped of my arms – especially the last 2 miles when the computer showed some 10% to 12% incline.
But… I did it and that’s a feeling I treasure. Back on the green plateau I screamed and yelled from excitement and happiness! Back to the campground where I have a cabin (scheduled in January!). In no time was I ready to head out again, take the shuttle back into the Park and enjoy the pink colors of the hoodoos again. I wish I could take this with me home and put it in front of my windows! Wouldn’t that be great: hoodoos on the Torhoutsesteenweg in Oostende! And tomorrow and get to play some more… This is awesome!
